Audition Notices are posted on this page (as the information becomes available). Audition Notices are also typically posted on playbill.com, actorsequity.org, southfloridatheatre.org, the Wick Theatre Facebook page and other media sources prior to the auditions. These notices contain the name and address of the audition location, audition times, the roles available, what we are looking for, and requested audition material.

Please also note that the Box Office staff typically does not have any information about auditions. We politely request you not call the box office regarding auditions as we need to keep these lines open for our guests to purchase tickets.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Arpad Laszlo: Baritone. Delivery boy at Marczek’s Parfumerie.  His exuberance is infectious and commitment to his job remarkable.  He is ambitious and adorable.

Ladislav Sipos: Baritone.  Not the brightest employee at Maraczek’s Parfumerie.  A confidant to Georg, he is an optimistic family man who looks like a huggable father.

Steven Kodaly:  Tenor.  A well-respected and liked employee and Maraczek’s Parfumerie.  Though he is considered dapper and occasionally charming, he is more of a shallow womanizer.

Mr. Maraczek:  Baritone.  Owner of Maraczek’s Parfumerie.  With a commanding presence, his dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faithfulness to his wife.

Georg Nowack: Tenor/Baritone.  An established employee of Maraczek’s Parfumerie, he resembles a hopeless romantic.  Shy, intelligent, and soft spoken.  He is like the son Mr. Maraczek never had.

Amalia Balash: Soprano.  The eager new employee at Maraczek’s Parfumerie.  Despite being a skilled saleswoman, she easily becomes intimated and nervous.  Attractive, bright and a lover of literature.

Ilona Ritter:  Mezzo-Soprano.  Employed at Maraczek’s Parfumerie.  She is sexy and learned in the ways of romance, but longing for something more from the game of love.

Waiter:  Tenor.  An eccentric and over-zealous waiter insistent on creating a romantic atmosphere.

Busboy:  Non-Singing role.  Clumsy at his job, he makes the waiter’s life a nightmare.
